If it is lakes and wetlands, you have two - Lake Chini, with fabled ancient city or Lake Bera, which is the largest in Malaysia. Both have their unique attraction to keep you in awe.

If it is wildlife you want, you can actually get up close to them at centre such as the Kuala Gandah Elephant Sanctuary or the Jenderak Seladang (wild buffalo) and Deer Breeding Centre. These are places where the animals are not just for show but are actually stationed to prepetute their survival for their sake and ours. Therein lies conservation. The elephant sanctuary is where stray or injured pachyderms are triated and rehabilitated before being realease back into the wilds.
